You – yes, you over there with your sharp suit and your consumer-eyes. You with your city-boy confidence and Savile Row panache. Where will you be when the Day of Judgement arrives? What will your sharp-creases and  bull-and-bear strategies do to help you then? "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit". Romans 8:5 that is. But you wouldn’t know that, would you. You see what you want to see and the rest of it passes you by, like so much tumbleweed caught in the eye of the storm.

 

I see it though. I see it all. The good and the bad. The ‘then’ and ‘now’. The Rapture and the sin. It is laid bare to me in its entirety, for I have opened my mind and my heart. Look, it says it right here on the board I’m wearing. You can’t say I haven’t warned you.

 

The dog too – yes, there, you’ve noticed the dog! He has a message too. You can read it in his eyes. He’s better at this than me. He doesn’t need a board and a loudspeaker. Ah ha! He’s made you comprehend – for the briefest of moments you understand.
